Darth Vader
rise
2025
Designed in Photoshop and painted in Rebelle 7
24" x 36"
Created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith, this poster zeroes in on the exact turning point of Anakin Skywalker’s fall. The focus is tight—his helmet filling the frame—pulling the viewer directly into the transformation. Reflected in the lens is the duel on Mustafar, a final glimpse of the Jedi he once was before fire and fury consumed him.
The background burns with the same intensity that reshaped his destiny, tying the heat of Mustafar to the moment he rises as Darth Vader. Every line, every reflection is meant to capture that split second when identity and allegiance are severed.
The word RISE stands not just as a command but as a statement of inevitability—the shift from chosen one to Sith apprentice, the start of an empire’s shadow, and the defining moment that reshaped Star Wars.
Artist’s Note
For me, the power of this piece comes from restraint—pulling in close, limiting the frame, and letting the reflection do the storytelling. The duel in the eye is a memory, a fracture, and a foreshadowing all at once. I wanted to create something that felt both intimate and monumental: the moment the galaxy’s fate turned, captured in the reflection of a mask.
Darth Maul
Son Of Dathomir
2024
Designed and painted in Photoshop
24" x 36"
In creating this poster, I aimed to push the boundaries of visual storytelling by embracing a bold and dynamic aesthetic. Drawing on the deep lore of Star Wars, particularly the multifaceted nature of Darth Maul, I found inspiration in his duality as both a fierce warrior and a tragic character.
The choice of Dathomir as a backdrop was intentional; it reflects Maul's haunting origins and enhances the oppressive atmosphere of the Dark Side. Using Photoshop, I experimented with layering techniques and varied opacity to add depth. The juxtaposition of vibrant colors against the stark, barren landscapes epitomizes the struggle between light and dark, capturing the essence of the theme.
Each pose of Maul serves a narrative purpose. The front pose, reminiscent of a pivotal moment in his story, is strategically placed to draw the viewer's eye and invoke a sense of tension and anticipation. The division of the poster not only reflects Maul’s physical defeat but also represents the larger conflict between good and evil that permeates the Star Wars saga.
By integrating these design elements with meticulous detail, I aimed to create a piece that not only celebrates the franchise's legacy but also resonates emotionally with fans. This poster is not just an image; it's a visual dialogue that invites viewers to reflect on the complexities of its iconic characters.
Sabine Wren
at Concord Dawn
2024
Designed and painted in Photoshop
24" x 36"
This poster encapsulates the essence of Sabine, embodying her fierce artistry and rebellious spirit. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Concord Dawn, we witness her in a moment of action, showcasing the evolution of her armor as a nod to her character's growth. The playful inclusion of the Purrgil serves as a subtle reminder of the broader Star Wars narrative, linking the legacy of Rebels to the exciting horizons ahead in upcoming live-action adaptations.
Bold strokes and dynamic angles illustrate not just her combat prowess, but also her journey as an artist—a testament to the power of creativity in the face of adversity. The phoenix icon left behind, reminiscent of her journey and growth, resonates with anyone driven to leave their mark.
In the end, every great story begins with an idea. Whether you’re launching a brand or sharing a vision, how you express that story visually can create an unforgettable impact, just like Sabine's electrifying journey.
